Structural Steel Fabrication Refresher
We’ve gone over the basics of structural steel fabrication in a previous blog. As a short recap, structural steel fabrication can be deployed in two areas:

Field fabrication involves cutting, bending, and assembling steel components directly on-site. This method offers flexibility and adaptability, making it suitable for structures that cannot be prefabricated in a shop or for builds in challenging or remote locales. Pros: Flexibility in the final project. Suitable for environments where pre-fabrications cannot be delivered. More work to implement and monitor QC. |
